Portland Chess Club membership isn’t required to play in any of our events except the annual Club Championship but members usually get a discount on tournament entry fees, can check out books from the club library, can advertise chess coaching services on the PCC website and at the PCC facility for free, often get first invitation to participate in special events, and have the right to elect the board members annually in January. Membership dues can be paid for at any of our events or online through PayPal by sending the money to email@pdxchess.org.
